Is it worth buying a foldable bike machine just got home cardio?

I bought a pretty cheap one some time ago. Its pretty nice if you want to combine it with watching a tv-series or a movie or something. A good alternative instead of just sitting on the couch.

Any type of resistance to these? Seems good for doing cardio at home but not sure how many cals it would honestly burn

I had a road bike but crashed it. I also work shifts hence why going to gym is difficult.
