I am petrified of sex.

In my early 20s, I saw a girl that ended up cheating on me and calling me to tell me she might have herpes. I was so terrified I drove right to a clinic. I didn't have sex for about four years after that. Within the last two years I started seeing my current girlfriend for whom I care very deeply. We've only had sex a half dozen times. I always enjoy being physical with her, getting and maintaining erections is no problem, but I just cannot mentally overpower my fear of sex.
