Coffee doesn't actually dehydrate you though. If you drink water along with your coffee, you will just have to pee more than if you drank just the coffee or water.

At a cafe, I'll get water with my coffee. At home, I just drink 0.5L upon waking, then have my coffee soon after.

Coffee doesn't dehydrate you. It's simply a diarrhoeic. Drinking water will help, as will eating or consuming fat, hence why people add milk or butter.

Coffee is a meme, I'm 27 and drank coffee like 3 times. It tastes like shit and if you really want that caffeine take a fucking pill or something at least that won't make your breath stink.

Yeah, if I remember correctly the enlightenment happened around the same time coffee became available in the west and the Industrial revolution was partly influenced by the growing demand for tea in urban areas.
