Hi guys. Help me settle a bet?
Which of the following is best for maximizing strength? (Forget about getting big, I'm just talking about strength.)
Low Rep / Heavy Weight: 1-6 reps (5 reps on average)
Moderate Rep / Moderate Weight: 7-12 reps (10 reps on average) or
High Rep / Light Weight: 12 reps (15 reps on average)?

Thank you, bro. That's what I thought.
But, what's optimal for gaining mass? Moderate reps / Moderate weight ?
>>36952680
Moderate reps (12-15) / Moderate weight
little rest between sets (30-60 seconds)
supersets/dropsets etc,time under tension.

For optimal strength, how much rest time between sets? I normally rest a minute to 90 seconds, but not for any reason. Am I doing it right?
>>36952762
For optimal strenght it would be 2-3 minutes brah
>>36952762
3-5 minutes rest for maximum strength performance.

>2-3
>3-5

just go with 3 and you'll be fine. its the number everybody agrees on and nobody disputes.

It depends on your cardiovascular endurance and genetics
Rest until you feel fresh, don't be afraid to hit it again in 2 minutes or in 6.

Ok, thanks guys. Your input is much appreciated. I'll stick with three unless my body suggests otherwise. Cheers!
