Hey guys, been thinking of getting a fitness band for over all shit, especially one with a HR monitor for my cardio days.
Was looking at fitbits offerings, but their waterprotection is shit.
Considered the Sony Smartband 2, but the HR tracker is apparently fairly poor.

Anyone use these things, input, ideas, alternatives?

I already wear a watch, so I don't give a fuck if it doesn't display the time.

Get a Microsoft band. Both generations (Microsoft Band and Microsoft Band 2) have pretty good heart rate monitors and uv sensors, pedometer, etc. Literally everything you'd need in a fitness tracker. The water protection rating they provide is actually lower than what the band tested at, providing them lesser liability if something went faulty. 10/10 I really have no gripes with mine, I absolutely love it.

To clarify, the actual water protection is better than the rating suggests. I wear mine almost constantly, only occasionally swapping it out for my Moto360 Gen 2 for less casual circumstances

looks neat, but the price is really steep.

>pedometer
That shit must light up like a beacon for chaners, famalam.
What does it measure in? Child sodomy/minute?

got garmin viviosmart hr. HR is good, sleep tracking sucks hard tho.
Waterproof as well since im too lazy to take it off when i shower
>>
just another worthless gadget consumers can throw their money at.
i'd use one for one day and then leave it in the drawer forever.
>>
I had a Charge HR, now I have a Blaze.

The blaze is better, but not sure it is worth the additional cost.

This is what i tell myself right before clicking

My mom got me a fitbit flex because she's in the union and got it for free from them. It's not worth buying. It's neat to have but I'd never spend money on one. The only thing I really enjoy about it is having it track my sleep.
>>
The charge hr is gonna be 50% off at AT&T stores next week. Mine's been solid so far, even if it's not super water resistant. Just don't shower with it on or dunk it in water and you're fine, I sweat like a pig doing cardio and it's still fine.

Mostly just looking for something to track my heart
