Alright so we all know spot reduction is a myth.

But the last part of my body that I truly need to burn fat off is my belly and love handles.

Are ab workouts and ab centric cardio routines (mountain climbers, etc) after every workout everyday going to help or am I wasting those 20 minutes at the end?

If you know spot reduction is a myth, why are you asking whether or not ab exercises will help spot reduction?

I am asking if doing the ab exercises along with ab centric cardio. Like doing mountain climbers and what not which is what will help lose the weight and strengthen the core at the same time. If those are even worth it or if it's a meme too.

Will work, it's been proven for decades

Do you do hips everyday?
>>
first you accept that spot reduction is a myth, because it is.

and then you're asking whether workouts for one specific muscle group will help burn fat in that specific area, aka spot reduction.
>>

If you work your core, it will be stronger.

C'mon buddy give the sticky another read

Developing abs will make them show more/more easily and might give the illusion of less fat
