Guise, pls help me to perfect my squatz/deadlift. I have never done them before, because I dont have a trainer and I'm trying to learn them on my own. ( Been doing them for a month. And, well, technically, there is a PT in my gym, but he says that i should only half squat, so he's a stupid fuck)

First vid- highbar squat. Do I need to be more upright? I think my hips are not mobile enough, which holds me back from squating more vertical
>>
your form is fine, you dont need to squat more vertical

If side view was bretty good, then back view is total shit. I dont get it. I mean, I do squeeze my traps, how the hell does the bar lean so fucking much to the right side? Its pretty weird, especially because my right trap is a bit bigger than my left one (therefore, weights should lean to the opposite side).
Also, is my stance good or it should be wider?

doesnt help that the camera aint straight

Finally my deadlift. Everything seems to feel good, except my very very lower back. I feel the pressure somewhere in between my lower back and hip bones

your squat stance wont matter that much, just choose a stance width that is comfortable for you (assuming your just squatting for general health here).

I usually squat with a slightly wider stance, but that doesnt necessarily mean that a super wide stance is superior to a super narrow stance, and vise-versa

as far as the unevenness is concerned, it doesnt look THAT uneven to me desu, many people have imbalances that make certain things like this uneven, for you maybe you just need to stretch shoulders more, or your camera could also just be uneven as well and is making your back look more uneven than it actually is

your hands do look a little uneven in their grip on the bar though, maybe try adjusting your hand position when you are about to squat and really try to make sure you are set up right at the center of the bar, if that makes any sense
>>
>>36908560
yeah, sorry about that, still, even my friend commented, that the bar was leaning to the right side, it is very visible on the last rep, then in the bottom it looks like shit and on top it is horizontal
>>

It's fine, don't try to squat vertical, just have a natural spine position and your good in that department.

You main problem is slight forward lean (your heels leave the floor); try to keep your feet planted -- maybe get proper weightlifting shoes if it's a problem.
>>
those shorts are horrible for squatting

get a loose pair, your hamstrings and glutes are not firing off properly because the material in your shorts is tightening up too much
>>
>>36908562
look straight ahead, not at the ground
>>
dont let your knees buckle in, you can see they almost do.
>>
>>36908652
*slight* bucklage at the initial part of the push isn't bad -- only if it's slight though. Before squatting down, present the crotch and squeeze the glutes.
>>
>>36908410
When you're in the bottom dont try to get up but extend your legs in this way you will use better your hams and use the heels more
>>
>>36908410
It isnt bad
>>36908473
Again not bad

Just keep lifting the more you do it the stronger youll get and the less wobbly youll be

>>36908562
Other than not looking straight ahead youre good
>>
>>36908589
Could the leaning be because of imbalances between the legs? My left leg was fractured few years ago.
>>
>>36908647
When i look up, my hips tend to go low. Also, I'm afraid i might have slight umbar lordosis and that my lower back would take all the work
>>
>>36908673
I recently found how to squat with activated glutes. But now I dont feel anything in my quads. Highbar is supossed to be quad dominant, right?
>>
ok, last question /fit/. Is it supposed to be uncomfortable for the knees on the botom of squat? Its not painful, just uncomfortable. Also, is poping sound normal, when squating up?

Thanks for all answers, /fit/, luv you guys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60J6HlvfePM
