I'm 5"7 at 206~lbs and i been lifting for almost two years

I was around 160 last time

And well i want to start cutting, my question is what's the best way to approach it, counting calories, fasting, eating less, a lot of cardio? I don't want to loose all or most of my muscles

Any tips?
>>
>5'7
>thinking lifting will make a difference
>>
count calories, doing a controlled deficit (ie, eat less) as per the FUCKING STICKY
Keep the same lifting routine you've been doing -- don't expect to progress, though
Do cardio as desired
>>

>don't expect to progress
I know it will suck, but you, or anyone, how much strength is loss in the process?
>>
>>36862330
I've been on a steady cut, but I've maintained my lifts, and actually increased me bench and DL believe it or not.

I'd just try and get enough protein along with your cut, I hear that helps keep your strength.
>>
>>36862350
How do you get your protein, just from food or do you also take any powders, I'm wondering because I haven't taken protein supplements in like a year

I take a scoop of whey powder daily, usually. Otherwise it's a lot of cheese/dairy/meat/beans/etc.

You don't need supplements, but it's a relatively cheap protein source that requires neither refrigeration nor significant prep. If you just want to load up on chicken breast you can do that too.

How are you fuckers so heavy? You're like the 10th 5'7 person this week that I see claiming some insane number as their weight and not being fatasfatass.

At that height I weight 65kg (~145lbs) and I feel like I would need roids to make it to 75kg without growing a gut and then I would be a fucking cannonball made of muscle. Am I underestimating how much muscle mass it takes to "fill out" one's figure or are you just really fucking fat?
>>
>>36862591
I have a semi big belly now, i seem to store a lot of fat/muscle on my back area/traps/legs, my arms aren't as big in comparison, i think it depends on how your body stores fat desu
>>
>>36862284
Download MyFitnessPal
Buy a food scale ($10 to $15)
Set your goal weight
Set how much you want to lose per week
Look at your maximum daily calorie count
Enter in the app every single thing that enters your mouth
Enter all food and all liquids other than water. No exceptions.
Stop eating once you reach your maximum calories of the day.
Continue until you reach your goal.
>>
>>36862387
drink shakes to make up for missing out on protonz in order to make the calorie count. really only needed if you can't get enough protein within your calories for some reason

I think they are delusionally thinking they aren't fat as fuck. This is my body at 5'7 130 lbs, almost half the weight they are... I am a skelly though, but weighing almost 2x my weight = fucking fat fuck
>>
>>36862591
im 5'7 at 203 and im just a little pudgy.
all the extra weight is just from our dwarven armor weighing us down, lanklets wouldnt understand.

not op, a different manlet.

left pic i was 220lbs, before i started lifting and after i had lost about 80lbs (hence the loose skin-titties + gyno).

right pic is 1.5 yrs of lifting at around 205lbs. i started leaning down more since that pic, because im getting gyno surgery this summer and i want that shit to look good.

im 18, 190lbs 5'8 currently going for 170ish,
hopefully i can be aesthetic in a few months...

>>
>>36863728
well yeah its kind of true

i was at 220 at my heaviest and like 30% bf, was a dirty as hell bulk that didn't go as planned. if you do it clean then bulk to 220 over 2 years. i gained like 60-70lbs in 2 that's why i got so fat. im also 18, started lifting when i was 15
>>
Guys I've been successful on my cut, went from 230 to 165 siting around at 15 or 14 % bodyfat.

Went home to see the senpai and my mom feels like im to skinny, that shes worried about me.

Like shes legit worried. I think it has to do with how shes always seen me a tubby kid. How do I explain to my mom in a nice way that I'm fine?
>>
>>36863802
When I got lean my mum said i was hot as fuck and that I need to and find a hot GF to fuck and make good looking babies with.

How do you measure foods that are complex recipes like slow cooked stews and shit?
>>
>>36862452
what brand of whey is that?
>>
>>36864047
Add up the total calories of all ingredients.
Divide by portion size

My big ass pot of chili is 3000 calories. It makes 8 bowls. Therefore a bowl = ???
>>
am i safe just counting calories and protein or should i be counting carbs and fat too
>>
>>36863694
you are going to look 10/10 after those titties are fixed

would let you bang my gf
