How do I improve at arm wrestling /fit/?
I'm pretty strong but I'm shit at arm wrestling.
Today this DYEL skinny fag challenged me to an arm wrestle and he beat me.
I can't take this anymore, what can I do to improve?

Don't arm wrestle. If you fuck it up, you can snap your forearm.
>>36765574
I always feel like shit in my wrists after too, but it's a nice way to show off those strength gains
>>36765554
Hammer curls
Chin ups with a neutral grip (I mean the ones where your palms face each other, they're called neutral grip, right?)
>>36765554
Pull your arm down and towards you instead of pushing it straight to the side.
>>36765634
Yeah that's what there called, I actually already do them. I'll start doing hammer curls.
>>36765658
I'll try this, thanks
>>36765554
Don't be a manlet. Leverages are huge with arm wrestling. Have beat many a manlet
Don't sweat it. I've seen so many videos of fuckers tearing their biceps or breaking their arms. Shit is dumb.

Do some wrist curls as well
You should realize that if some dyel challenges you to arm wrestling he's probably pretty confident in his ability. Bodybuildlers may have strong pecs, arms muscles and lats, but a lot of them probably still have pretty weak rotator cuff muscles. For example your subscapularis used for internal rotation is probably on average dyel level.

This is the mountain being defeated by arm wrestling champ Devon Larrett.
I started doing some of Larrett arm wrestling workout routines, 1) because his arms are phenomenal looking, and 2) the amount of strength he utilizes is amazing, something I need in my job.

Names?

arm wrestling is fucking stupid
>>36767182
>this guy who goes down with his whole body
What an impressive feat of strength.
The mountain obviously has no notion of arm wrestling technique and jsut uses pure raw strength.
Arm wrestling is retarded.
>>36765554
names or video link, please??
>>36767182
This is shit.
It's also against the rules to fucking use your body weight.
It should have been a complete stall.

Arm wrestling is a skill that's complimented by strength. It's not a test of strength complimented by a skill.
The best way to get better at arm wrestling is to work on your technique. Forearm strength is certainly helpful, but if you're of an average body composition, mastering the movement is basically going to put you in front of 90% of people (assuming you aren't a 120lb twink boy).

Power lifter who became armwrestler.
TLDR: He needed to work on his biceps and technique a lot.
All armwrestlers have great arms. In my opinion some of the most proportional and aesthetic due to the awesome forearms.
Forgot pic related
Got tennis elbow from arm wrestling and couldn't do any pressing or pulling afterwards for 1 month.

How about no.

How about yes.
Fuck arm wrestling. Never do it. If you aren't dyel with osteoporosis, you probably won't snap anything, but a manlet who has genuinely trained and practiced technique can beat you and have a smug sense of satisfaction and hold it over your head. Finger wrestling is where it's at.

It tests grip and full body pulling. I've never done it at a table, but standing is just as effective. That little fuck couldn't beat me in finger wrestling so now he can't Lord over the one damn time he beat me in arm wrestling.
