I've been cutting and hitting the gym almost daily for the last month. Seeing some slight changes with this super clean diet and maintaining my macros. Not sure If I could be doing more or less to thin out. Has anyone here gone from fat to /fit/ or atleast thin? Advice would be greatly appreciated
Bigger the defecit the more weight you will lose. I decreased my calories by like 1000 and started walking 5 miles a day and lifting. You can eat less carbs too to make it go a little quicker. Lost like 40 pounds in 5 months

Did the same shit, and i lost 70 lbs in 5 months, I would'nt recommend doing it because you feel like shit 90% of the time. I lost lots of muscle too

>be super fat, 22 years old
>talking 130 kg, no muscle, about m1.85
>super depressed, spend all my time gaming and eating for comfort
>have no friends
>hate my older brother that allows me to live with him(for free), he always seems so successful
>he talks about stoicism and other philosophy shit
>read up on some stuff because I wanted to outsmart him
>realise how much of a fucking failure I am, make meme post about sudoku on r9k
>someone posts that I should just diet, do DNP, take roids and lift
>no longer care, do or die
>take DNP, lose 15kg in a month, it really shows, people notice and complement me
>realise I can change
>talk to said brother, break down, ask him to diet with me
>he just smiles and says finally
>never did DNP again, never did roids and I don't intend to
Now I just go to the gym twice a week and eat whatever my brother eats, the guy can cook
>Started almost 2 years ago
>peaked at 340 lbs
>decided one day to just drink water, start walking to lunch, cutting down on portions
>haven't weighed myself in over a year
>no clue what I weigh but don't care
>still fat, still making slow progress
>signed up for a bouldering gym

Thanks, I think my double chin was actually my primary motivator. Looking down slightly and being smothered is such a terrible feeling
