Instead of spending however long you plan to on /fit/ waiting for the one person who has an opinion on it to notice this thread, you can go to specialty forums for whatever topic you want. That's the beauty of the internet. I googled, "lacrosse forum" and this is the first result.

Not sure if your answer lies in there, but it's worth a look and if not, I'm sure there's other forums out there just waiting.

In the end, $5 isn't very much to spend to experiment with your hobby. And if you buy both, $8 isn't still incredibly cheap to spend on a hobby. Especially considering you'd get 4 balls out of it.
