Losing weight is easy but to lose weight and then transition into a godly physique takes a lot of time, more than this website will have you believe. When I was fat I went from 210 to 148 and it took an entire year of strict eating and cardio, at the end I was about 12% body fat, had a hank hill ass and my stomach wasn't flat like I imagined.

After that I bulked as clean as I could for a year straight and ended up weighing 170, my face lost leanness, bigger belly but I had put on a considerable amount of muscle, it was only after 2 years I had friends comment on "nice arms" or "nice pecs" and had girls looking at me in the gym, actually looked like a guy who lifted but I wasn't big or where I wanted to be.

The third year is really where I took my physique from decent to where I wanted to be finally, bigger chest, arms, ass, wider back, I finally looked like someone you'd see posted in a CBT, at this point I was proud and had the body I wanted when I first started losing weight.

Currently on my 4th year of lifting and I'm pretty close to my genetic limit, gains aren't nearly as fast and I can tell myself I made it before I sleep at night.

The point of my post is that if you are overweight you are in for a long journey and you need to love it, I started at 17 and I'm 21 now, I was never obese, I wasn't 40 years old, I was pretty young and a pretty prime age to lose weight and begin training and it took me 2 dedicated years to look decently attractive, many of you will take longer, take it by the day and never give up, my life is awesome and I want all of you to live this awesome life with me

Clean up ~70% of your diet and count your calories - that leaves you Friday night and Saturday to fuck around. When you do, keep it reasonable - half a pizza is all you need for dinner. Up the effort you put into your workouts.

You've taken the first step - that's good. Now begins the journey of a thousand miles.

That's why you're supposed to fucking lift while cutting, to retain some mass. Untrained fatties can even gain some lean mass while cutting, provided their protein intake is kept up. Lifting helps keep you from looking like a pathetic, untrained piece of dog shit at the end of your cut.

Count calories. You can eat whatever the fuck you want as long as it's under your TDEE. Currently cutting (more so maintaining right now) but I have a wide variety of foods. Greek yogurt. Fish (tilapia,shrimp, salmon) , eggs, steak, brocolli, kale, etc etc.

BTW if you're a fatass cutting weight you must 1. Count calories 2. Weigh food. 3. Check weight.

Cut sugar, processed foods, most meat, dairy and fruits. ate raw vegetables, broiled pork and chicken and drank water and cardio for 1 to 2 hours a day for the first 4 months. Slowed down the weight loss and ate a little more for the next 4 months. Now I can eat and drink whatever and maintain between 133 to 140.

I carry more weight better than most. I have a really broad frame. but anything after about 330 looked really pathetic. 375 was disgusting. 446 was unforgivable.

I started with P90X as a know nothing DYEL fatass, and I ended up with a fair amount of muscle mass despite losing about 14kg. P90X is a shitty program but I still got decent results just by having a good diet and strong consistency.
