What's the best way to maintain as much muscle as i can? Diets, workouts (train for strength or hypertrophy?)

For us natties, strength IS hypertrophy.
On a cut, my best advice is to keep doing your current routine, minus any deloading. When you struggle maintaining your reps, add more sets si that your total reps remains the same.
Also, sleep and hydration will become more important than ever.

Typical numbers cited for protein consumption are 0.8g/lb. You typically need more protein on a cut than a bulk. This number ensures that regardless of caloric intake you are meeting your protein needs. With regards to training, there are different philosophies. I train the same way on a cut as a bulk, and lower the weight if necessary.
