Hands, elbows, knees, shins, and heels
Teaches you how to strike with all of that.

Personally I just went to a boxing gym and sparred once a week.
The cardio is Fucking amazing and I became a lot more confident.
Throw nothing but jabs at a bag for 5 minutes while maintaining footwork will humble you.
Definitely appreciate watching UFC more and thinking about just how hard it would be to fight someone for 15 minutes.

Worded that badly. I went to the gym 3 days a week and sparred on the 3rd day after class.
In between gym days I would do my own cardio.
The way I wrote it made it seem like I only went to the gym once a week.

take grappling too, i define myself at a decent striker and i took one mma class and got my ass submited by some teen blue belt jjb. Muay thai is top tier for striking, but don't forget that fights are also takedowns and on the ground my friend

It's one hell of a workout and will get you in top shape in no time.
I would dedicate more to it if I had enough time, but I want to focus on BJJ for now so my MT training is a bit inconsistent.
