I'd say what matters is how/how badly it's been damaged. Let's say you've gonna your whole life stating your squat max, but it's a low bar max that only goes to parallel. You could regain your honour by going the rest of your life by stating your high bar ATG max(aka true max) as your squat max.
But if you curl in the squat rack, or do rows off the bench, your honour can never be regained.

Dunno. It's kind of hard. You could equate that with the Christian notion of forgiveness. From what I understand ,you want to say "After what can someone be trusted as much as before a betrayal ?".
In the notion of forgiveness ,there is the notion of atoning for its fault (let's not use sins ,religion is irrelevant but it's part of our culture ,hence why capital punishment tend to disappear).Also 20% of criminals tend to do 80% of the crimes. Recidivism is a real thing However with betrayal ,it's willful treason,so maybe part of the atonement/pay back may be to never be trusted again. In that case ,honor may never be regained imo.

Also you posted the FFL ,but it changed over the course of the year. They seldom take ex convicts now. They run background check so they may not be the romantic "loose your former life and fight for a new identity" even if they do give you a new name for integration purpose.

Honor is an idea based on morality, ethics, and admirable traits. All of those things are just concepts that change from person to person and is dependent on the society you live in. My honor would be different than yours, so only you can decide if you lost it or gained it back, whatever other people think is a waste of time

But Plato would have argued that having honor is a part of being virtuous. And virtue is learned, so that means honor can be learned.

If you lose your honor, you could learn it again.
