Do you calorie count on a cut or just portion control? Has anyone lost more weight not counting?

Calorie count. You'll always lose more weight knowing what you're eating. Some people fixate on food more when they're keeping track of it - that's the only reason I can think of that it might backfire.

>implying you don't count your calories in order to control the portion size

this
portion control by itself only works for people who are used to eating bigass plates of food + seconds and could benefit from just cutting out that extra helping
but that's lazy too

I used to be a gigantic fatass who had more than 75 pounds to lose. When I first started trying to lose weight portion control worked fine for me. Dropped 10-20 pounds without much trouble. Then Hovered at the same weight for a year or so until I started counting calories and dropped the rest. Babby's first bulk in December :)
