>mfw people do deadlifts but don't compete in powerlifting
The fuck would anyone want to compete in the least natty sport on the planet?
>>36346104
Deadlifts are GOAT m8. They build muscle in all of the right places to look strong. Godly for hammies too if youre pulling conventional or doing sldls
>>36346104
I did my first deadlift last week
this week a lifted 2pl8(3 reps only though)
thanks for giving me an opportunity to tell ppl about this OP
>>36346104
I do deadlifts once a week as a natty bodybuilder. They help me warm up my quads and hamstrings, work my lower back in a unique way, and warm me up for hamstring curls.
I love deadlifts. I just wish I was better at them. :((((
>>36346104
Romanian deadlifts are nice
>>36346104
you mean deathlifts?
I do deadlifts because it feels good to move a lot of weight. I have absolutely zero interest in competing with anyone besides myself from yesterday.
>>36346104
>mfw people are falling for this
>mfw people run but don't compete in running
>36346104
That's like questioning why people play basketball but don't compete in the NBA.
>op is a dumb fuck
>>36346104
>everything I do I must compete in
>>36346104
>Did deadlifts
>Compete in weightlifting
ayy
nahh
>Mfw op drinks boners but doesn't get paid.
>>36350735
Are you op?
>>36346104
Arnold Schwarzenegger did deadlifts.
So did Dorian Yates, artemus dolgin, and pretty much every noteworthy aesthetic bodybuilder with a v-taper....
They literally make your entire body stronger and your waistline slimmer.
If you do NOT do deadlifts, you are a faggot

you mean
>mfw people who only pull singles but don't compete in powerlifting
Deadlifts are awesome
Good for lower back, traps, and forearms
It's a true test of strength, and is functional, because that's how you actually lift objects irl
>>36351548
No. The strongman atlas stone is more functional. How often do you lift non bulky items?
I'm new to lifting so I did 1 plate deadlift and was dizzy as fuck after 5 reps. Is that normal or am I doing them wrong?
>>36352492
As much as I lift huge stones and perfectly balanced bars.
>>36353060
I've been doing them for like a month and I still get light headed, I have no idea man. I'm not dehydrated, I eat enough. No clue.
>>36353134
Lifting for nearly a year too, but I snapped my shit up doing them in late 2015.
>>36353060
Breath more, don't tense up as much.
