I desperately want to correct my posture. Does anyone have experience/tips on fixing a forward neck and hyper extended pectorals? Pic related: my pectorals extend like the "on guard" image and my neck is forward like the "hipster" image.

Imagine a string is attacched to the back of your skull and is pulling your head up into the sky. Now go to the point just before you give yourself a double chin. Stay like that as much as you can. Whenever you think of it.

Any kind of exercises that someone could recommend me? Also, should I sleep in a certain position?

front squat, bridge (real bridge, pic related), wrestler's bridge (basically pic related but on your head. Use your forehead and put some kind of cushion underneath it) sleep doesn't matter that much since your body goes completely limp.

If you can't do it look up the progression.

pic related is wrestler's bridge

Also make sure your chin is tucked in and your spine is completely neutral during front squats, if you're flexible enough in some place to have a workaround it won't do much.

Raise your sternum. Everything else will follow.

I'll work on these. Any other tips? I've heard that lunges and jogging is good as well. Is that true?

J-shaped back.

Head over heart, heart over pelvis. Bring your sternum forward/up when breathing in this position. We do this in yoga

Do heavy deadlifts

am I the only one who finds Goose strangely arousing

sleep with a pillow or cushion underneath your knees so your legs are slightly angled. I also sleep without anything under my head although I can't say 100% if that's officially helpful.
>>
>>36283326
if you aren't already strong and controlled I think that's too dangerous a move to be trying.

have you worked out how to do it?

Face pulls are pretty great at keeping you from rolling your shoulders forward and hunching over.

I went about a year or two in my life where I forced myself to sleep soldier style, no pillow.
Was uncomfortable and always had trouble sleeping, but it was the best posture I've ever had in my life.
>>
>>36287134
I haven't had any trouble with it myself, it's been two years in my case I think.
>>
>>36287106
Its not really too hard, just roll your shoulders backwards, instead of forwards which is typically done. Also, you also arch your back slightly at the lower back as well. Just use a mirror to estimate it. It's much better and more comfortable in the long term than the typical "s" shape that people usually form when hunched at desks and lazily stand.
>>
Goose looks like she's prime for some dicking.
>>
>>36282866
Nosey to correct here.

I just focused everyday and every opportunity I had to stand up straight. That coupled with lifting eventually corrected it.

Alan Thrall has some good exercises for it. Also what >>36282905
