Ive been to a few PL competitions and people just have ridiculous lowerbody strength. Coincidentally their benches are bad so ive been going full steam on bench progress.

Benching 365 is enough to win medals actually.

For me its a grip issue. Im worried deadlifting will hurt my wrists like its done in the past and then i wont be able to keep the bench snowball rolling.

The risk is so high that i rarely deadlift and therefore its just stalled for a long time.

Sometimes just taking off my kneesleeves hurts my wrists. Its b/c of a work injury few years ago.

I actually looked at my regional meets results from last fall. Guys squating 240-260kg pulling 280-300kg only bench 115-130kg.

The second highest bench was 160kg and the guy weighed 40kg more than me.

I won with 169kg at 93kg group.

Bench is steadily going up 2.5 pounds per workout, but I had to deload at 270 for squat. Back to linear progression, I think I'll start doing M/W/F instead of every other day like I was.
