If someone is just looking to increase their main lifts, they need to do a 5x5 and not skimp on their macros. I did a 5x5 last year year and over a 4 month period went from not being able to get 200lbs once to being able to rep 245x3.

I ended up with 23 times the "acceptable" levels of mercury in the US from tuna.

Watch out for numb lips, fingers, dropping shit, lack of interest in sex, and any other weird shit that you can't explain.

Probably about 10 oz (280g) per day of canned tuna, but I was also eating a shitload of sushi.

I used to get a thing called "Tuna Girl" that was 9 pieces of tuna sushi and a spicy tuna roll. I'd get two for lunch almost every day.

I'm not saying stop eating tuna, but I ended up in a total panic because my symptoms were either mercury toxicity or ALS and I did not want that.

Before the mercury thing I could probably have eaten 100 pounds of tuna in three months.

There is a lot of advice that applies here.
Deloading may work.
Higher weight lower reps may work.
For me it was accessories that broke through.

As for the stalling, with out know your routine and diet, what's helped me is having a light bench day of 10-12 rm then a heavy one of 5rm.
