>tfw failed last rep
>on bench alone

Just happened to me. I fasten the plates so they don't drop off when the bar tips. My right shoulder and left pec are considerably bigger
>>35602052
Do any other people count what they couldn't do on a set then add a set to make up for it?
Like if I usually do 3x10
And I fail 4 reps
I'll do 1x4 to make up.
The lowest weight there is in my gym is 1.25kg plates. How do I progress on the lifts on the usual program like stronglifts/greyskull etc.
>fail so many reps that I can't go up in weight next time
>>35602119
add an extra day of squatting the same weight
>>35602083
Happened to me a week ago. First time since two years. Also my hammy cramped. I had to roll on my stomach almost hundred kilos with cramped leg.

I suppose this counts for everylift so I will progress after every second day/second try of the same lift. Am I mistaken ?
>First time attempting new PR for OHP
>Old PR caused me much grief getting it
>Didn't fail any reps
You guys won't be impressed because I'm still doing babyweights, but damn
>>35602099
Yeah that's the smart thing to do I feel because that way you're still getting the same total volume and can still continue progressing even if you're just having a bad day
>>35602099
Yep
>>35602167
Good for you, anon. How much?
>>35602099
You should so it, but it's not counted; doing 10 sets of 1 ain't the same as 1 set of 10.

105 lbs
And it's like 100 lbs gave me such a hard time that I can't even conceive how I did 105 5x5 the first attempt.
Current goal is 1 plate
>tfw my back and leg muscles are doing very well on diddylift and I could go heavier
>except my grip has been starting to fail
I don't want to switch to mixed grip which when I did try it was considerably easier because I'm still only at lmao 2.5 pl8
>>35602052
>tfw failed entire workout
>tfw had to take a massive dump
>got to the gym really late
>only 30 minutes before closing
>only got to 2 two exercises
