A common idea amongst the general public is that late night eating leads to storage of more fat than usual, when consuming the same amount of calories at other times of the day, when perhaps you would be more active (burning more energy). What do you think?
I enjoy eating b4 bed. Helps me knock out and i hate breakfast and enjoy fasted lifting.
I fast in the evening and have a proper breakfast the next. Gives better sleep and better lifts.

i eat when i wake up and before i go to sleep. The hole store more fat thing is most likely total bullshit. The eating carbs at night thing being bad is total bullshit. i usually have a bunch of greek yogurt and some granola and fruit before i go to sleep. Not much fat and a lot of protein and fiber.

Check the /fit/ wiki, it provides some studies regarding this.

rather focus on what you eat (healthy stuff and not too much) than when you eat it. seriously, it's common sense

I get nightmares if I eat before bed. This is the only reason I don't eat before bed.
I like to either get some milk, skyr (icelandic high protein dairy product) or simply a slow release protein shake before bed.

the body is most insulin resistant at night in accordance to the circadian rhythm. therefore eating carbs is not the best idea.
also, eating before sleep dampens growth hormone production (pic related).
