Hey /fit/, I saw this photo someone took of me today and realised what an absolute skelly I am.
I'm gonna do SS like the sticky says, but I have some questions about it.
Are there any other exercises for the upper body I could add to it? Particularly to make my neck bigger and my arms.
Should I do these on rest days or after the regular exercises?
Also I was wondering if I should do gomad or not, I'm very skinny but I'm also noticeably flabby and shit without a shirt on, so I'm a little worried about that getting worse, but it doesn't really matter.
Last question is how long do you think it would take to go from 65kg to 80kg? I'm 6'1"
Any other tips would be appreciated, I'm looking forward to having bigger legs
I'll be the good guy and warn you that SS is a troll and GOMAD will make you fat.

What else should I do then?
This anon is pretty much my goal body, just want to look/ be fit
(Sorry for saving anon I'll delete it now)

Don't follow the sticky, it's shit and outdated.

>Are there any other exercises for the upper body I could add to it?
Do the main program for 2-3 months, then you can add calf raises, cable crossovers, lateral raises, db supinating curls, skullcrushers or dips, and/or facepulls.
>Should I do these on rest days or after the regular exercises?
You rest on rest days. You do accessories after the main lifts.
>Also I was wondering if I should do gomad or not, I'm very skinny but I'm also noticeably flabby and shit without a shirt on, so I'm a little worried about that getting worse, but it doesn't really matter.
Don't do gomad, but drink a good amount of milk.
>Last question is how long do you think it would take to go from 65kg to 80kg? I'm 6'1"
Will take exactly three longs.

Can you give me any more advice trappy? Or some sort of routine template if I shouldn't do ss?
I wanna look like
>>35561330
I'll trust whatever you think is best for me
>>35561519
Do SS, you will gain just as much muscle as a highvolume brosplit, but you will be way stronger. And have sexy legs.

Thanks heaps for the advice, I didn't see this post before I posted this comment >>35561519

Watch these to make sure you will bench correctly

Stretch your hamstrings

And don't skip the power cleans~
Just started lifting, but is it worth buying the book has nobody got the PDF?
At the moment i'm just doing the routine of on and off
Flat BB Bench Press/Incline DB Bench Press - 3 x 8-12*
WG Pullups (or WG Lat Pulldown)/ DB Rows - 3 x 8-12*
DB Standing Shoulder Press/BB Military Press - 3 x 8-12
BB CG Bench Press/DB Lying Tricep Extensions - 2 x 8-12
DB Bicep Curls/DB Incline Bicep Curls - 2 x 8-12
Is SS really the holy grail to start of with weights senpai
>>35561156
honestly OP forget SS / all these charts and shit and just do this http://stronglifts.com/
easier barrier for entry (no power cleans) and the mobile app is loads better
+ the sites nicer, filled with good advice too

Here are the reasons why you shouldn't do memelifts
>>35535857
>>35535868
Also
>being afraid of learning to power clean
>following advise from a website with chewed meme information for couch potatoes
>>35561571
The book is amazing, but not a necessary read. But it's real good.
>>35561573
The only reason I chose to do SL over SS was because of how organized the website was.
Can't really speak for the routines themselves though.
Also, Rip still outlifts Mehdi even though he's 59 years old.

You dont have to squat pl-style lowbar to do SS, it's just an easier movement to teach to new lifters.
