Not him - I think that's true but I think that's overstated. There's myofascial release and there's just simple massage, it's easy enough to roll the erectors one side at a time to just move a little blood through them without releasing them, which again, I don't think is really the issue it's made out to be. Also, I don't know what rolling would really do for compression anyway.

I'm serious, l lift in the afternoon and my back gets stiff from my shit job, so l roll out before doing squats or deads.

I just roll up the spine and it does the pops all the way up and idk but I feel a lot less compressed afterward. Especially nice after squatting.
I mostly do mid-upper back though, I just do stretches for my low back.

I foam roll and stretch pre-workout. Also foam roll on my off days. I work retail, my right knee and hip constantly hurt because I'm an ex fatty, and also I think the cold has something to do with it.
