Mix it up. I trained in Tang Soo Do, MMA/grappling and Krav Maga. It's the combination that feels good, I feel allright in whatever direction a fight goes. Unless people use guns and shit, then I run.

In reality the best martial art is not to get in trouble at all.

Disagree. Not everything is effective, but a lot of kicks, punches and combinations from Tang Soo Do work very effectively.

As for Krav Maga it teaches you a very aggressive mindset for when you need it, there's a complete focus on neutralizing your opponent, not winning a round within a given set of rules
