High school senior here. Inb4 underagefag, I'm 18

I have a near perfect score on the SAT (2390), a 4.0 GPA and take 6 AP classes (took 7 last year). My bench, squat, and DL maxes are 270, 365, and 405, respectively.

Normal people treat me fine. I haven't noticed any normal people instantly assuming I'm a dumb meathead just because I'm swole.

A lot of the other "smart" kids in my school seem to hate me. I say "smart" because these kids take a lot of AP classes and call themselves intellectuals but they spend all day studying for their classes. They also don't have good SAT scores. These kids also show no deference to their teachers or other people in general because they think they are smarter than everyone else - they're shitty people all around.

I know, though, that these people are bitter betas so it doesn't bother me much. Anyone who's actually smart understands the value of lifting and knows how important it is to both your own health and social life.

So blog post aside, it doesn't usually give me a problem.

Start getting fit before college or you will kick yourself dude. You don't need to go to a good gym to get fit. You need hard work and discipline. As long as your gym has free weights, find a program like SS and stick to it. If not, find a calisthenics program and stick to it. Meticulously track your macros. If you care about your diet and do whatever routine you can, you will be much better off than if you had done nothing at all.
