I did my own shit and I was alienated as fuck throughout school. But guess what, I didn't give a damn, and I still did my own thing.

Once into the workplace, you realize people ARE NOT INTERESTING AT ALL, and as long as you do more than just work, and consume mindless TV, like they do, you will be the most interesting person in the world to them.

Hell, I did weekend long bicycle rides, camping, hiking, long road trips, and to these boring ass people, I was more interesting than the fucking Kardashians.

Doing your own thing may not sound like much while in school, but once you get out into the real work, as long as your thing is somewhat interesting, and you make no apologies for your own thing, you'll be a fucking god, drowning in women.
