Is there such a thing as a BB or DB leg exercise that doesn't use the lower back as a stabilizer?

split squats/lunges will put proportionally more load on the quad/hams and less on your back since you're using only one leg to move a weight you have your whole back to stabilize.
The one where you lie down and raise your leg without bending your knee.
