When do I start seeing gains?

I am now officially 2 months into lifting. MWF.
Just curious when I should start looking physically better and actually being stronger.

I started just skinny as fuck... 6'2" 140 lbs... no muscle very little fat.. so I've been building up from nothing. But now after 8 weeks, I look like the pictures week 1. Wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I've been eating very healthy, cut all junk foods, have whey protein shake every day. I feel stronger in some aspects at the gym, but for instance I'm still struggling when I bench like 85 lbs, and it makes me feel pathetic. Should I be way more fit after 2 months? Or is it normal for me to be where I'm at?

I've been out drinking maybe 4-5 times from October to now, but I'm not sure. I drink a lot nowadays since my father and grandparents drink all day and let me drink with them if I want to.
My bench is fucking terrible, I just incline bench and see progress there. I just find regular bench frustratingly hard and genually hate benching.

yep, i like posting that pic because it does illustrate that it takes some time.
I was decently strong after a year, but totally dyel.
But when i finally decided to switch over to cutting hard and training like a BB, I had enough strength and I blew up in about a couple months.

6'1 205 at the time, now im 225 no roids just a 7 day split to burn weight, 6 day PPL to build muscle and eating heavy. 3200 kcal is my maintence so I had 3500 daily. great diet incredibly high in protein and incorporated super sets for aesthetic muscles (abs, arms, buttocks)

That's how it works anon.
Do SS until you get to intermediate lifting levels, then hop on madcow or one of canditos routines if you're still interested in making linear strength gains, or if you care more about building mass hop on PPL, or another routine which has you training each body part 2x a week. Fuck bro splits though, utterly useless.

If your bench sucks, try using dumbells instead of a barbell. you will use a lot more stabilizer muscle and strength in one arm won't be able to compensate for weakness in the other. go super hard with dumbells for like 2 weeks and then see if your bench goes up.
