Romaleos have slightly bigger heels, so if you have especially shit ankle mobility, get those? If you have normal/exceptional ankle mobility, and you'll also be doing weightlifting, consider that the Romaleo's heel might shift your weight forwards.

Romaleos are heavier, so you'll feel more glued to the floor.

I own those, now i have adipowers and i prefer them by far.
If you have to compromise because of price get power perfect 2s (they're basically the same price and there are many high level weightlifters who still use them), but my advice would be to get a top model immediately, that way you will never have to upgrade.

I plan to order a pair of Romaleos soon (it's my Christmas gift). Would you say my feet are wide (pic related, I'm like a size 12). My ankle dorsiflexion I'd say is exceptional too (although I think I've lost some calf flexibility lately, I was doing calf raises for the first time in a while and my Calves got stretched like fuck, never did that before). I say that cuz I looked up a test for ankle dorsiflexion ability, and it was you go into a lunge position and have your toes like 2 inches or something from a wall and if your knee touches the wall you have acceptable flexibility (I remember once I was coaching a girl's squat and she couldn't even get her knee past her big toe... wtf?). Anyway, then the test said you can measure it by how far it goes past your toe and it said like 4 or 6 inches was great, and I got like 6 or 8 or something, although I think I was doing a lot of calf stretches at the time. I can probably only do a few inches now.. I really go up on the balls of my feet when squatting and trying to stay Olympic style crazy upright (I really can't wait to get oly shoes so I can stay bolt upright and still keep the weight on my heels :Ddd)

I have wei ruis and they feel fucking horrible. It feels like they have almost deformed slightly because I was pushing on inner feet originally.

They don't feel too sturdy and the metatarsal strap feels very lose. I'll probably buy some romaleos.

I really want the Asics weightlifting shoes but they don't even make them in my size

You can get Powerlifts 2.0 for $50 on amazon right now. It seems smarter to test out lifting shoes before you spend 2-4 times as much on a better pair.

Plus the Powerlift 2.0 will probably last you a couple of years. Obviously, they're not as good as the two pair you are considering.
