4 months into kickboxing, 1.5 months into AllPro's Beginner Routine. I'm making progress but it seems like I'm gaining strength really, really slowly compared to when I did Starting Strength. Is it just a shit program, or should I expect slower results for more bodybuilding style programs?

I make it up as I go, but it would be considered a powerlifting routine.

Heavy squats or deadlifts every day, 4-5 days a week, for sets of five, triples, or singles depending on what I'm feeling. Bench or OHP every day, 3-5x3-5. Pullups or chinups every day. Oly lifting thrown in as well as rows and other random stuff occasionally.

I think I have good genes for it. I've also been an athlete for all my life.

Well my bench is 107.5kg X 5, ohp 35kg X 6 (dumbbells), deadlift 180kg X 1 and squat is only at 120kg X 5, although before my knee injury and while at the peak of SL I was doing 145kg x 5 for 5 sets

you have to read post 4 and 9 more so than the OP.

some of the exercise recommendations put heavy pressure on the spine (and that's sort of why they bring out the adonis belt) so take it easy, especially with OHP as that involves "axial loading" which is where the weight is directly above the spine which increases the risk a lot.

I would suggest that you spend some time learning to activate the TA to make sure it is activating before you add weight to it (if it isn't, you risk spinal injury) - I used this video

As far as diet goes I really just never eat too many bad foods, 4-6 meals a day, eggs and a shake in the morning, chicken, ground turkey or fish, for the mid day meals, with brown rice, while wheat pasta, or whole grain bread, and a shake after the gym. I don't really wanna post my macros because I firmly believe everyone's is completely different and I personally need more calories than most people because of my height and because I burn so much with training. But my ratios are 20% fat 40% carb 40% protein and as long as I stick to that I stay pretty lean if I eat clean meals. I also never drink anything but water. As soon as the season is over I pig out for like a week with pasta and fried chicken and coca cola because I'm not made of steel and get back to living like a normal person (drinking etc).

Everyone thinks you're a lot shorter. Hell, three of my diagrams have generously put you at a whole 7 inches shorter than what you claim. That's a 10% difference.
