Been using selsun blue for over a week now, closer to 2 weeks. And I still have dandruff. Background is I just started getting drandruff 2 months ago and I never had it in my life. I live in chicago so yeah its cold so I thought maybe it has to do with that. I am moving to tennessee in 3 days because it is a little bit warmer. Do you think that will help me? I am desperate because I have to wear a beanie everywhere as this dandruff looks bad on my darker hair color.

Mayo clinic has some advice on using it. It's usually worth doing a rinse and repeat and letting it sit longer.
If it doesn't work still see a doctor because you might have something else going on.

Some health website or something. Google it.
You say you've only had it for a couple months? Have you started taking any supplements, maybe creatine? I've heard creatine can cause some dandruff.

Why would you pick that garbage over Head And Shoulders?
too poor?
Use applecider mixed with water (50/50) as conditioner, worked wonders for me
>stop using shampoos containing Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) of Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES).
As shampoo alternative: Aveda PURE-FORMANCE EXFOLIATING SHAMPOO

How often do you wash your hair?
Could be your scalp is just dry as fuck and using shampoo everyday makes it worse.
Try just scrubbing without shampoo for a day or two and see what happens. Probably won't get worse than it is now at least.
