at thanksgiving my grandfather said he was proud of me. I'm the youngest of 8 grandchildren, none of whom are particularly unsuccessful, but none of us have heard him say anything like that before. Coming from a traditional old bastard like him it meant a lot. guess i'm doing something right

Literally everyone told me that organic chemistry was going to be the hardest class I took. It's what breaks biology/chemistry/pre-med majors and makes them all switch to psychology and exercise science. It freaked me out, but I figured I would just do my best and whatever happens happens.

I just finished the semester with a 113% in the class. I don't think I have understood or enjoyed a class more than I did this semester. Good feels.

Chem student here. Organic is considered the first weedout class in chem because its the first class in the program you can't completely bullshit/cram and expect to make an A.
Still, if you enjoy organic, take more of it. Very few people have it come to them easily. If it comes easy to you, then don't waste your talent.
