One a scale on 1-10 how strong do I look fit with 5 being an average guy.

I know I'm not really fit but I've been picking up calisthenics. Any advice in general would be great.

Man OP I'm gonna be straight with you. You don't look strong at all. But you seem to be in a good position to start building a foundation for both strength and aesthetics. If you get a proper regime going and get your nutrition on point, you'll make it breh. We're all gonna make it. My greatest piece of advice to you is as follows:
For optimal strength and mass, lift in the 4-6 rep range. Always. Have a six week cycle, with 4 regular weeks, 1 power week and 1 deload week. Make sure you properly tackle each muscle group. If you want legitimate advice from a renown natty bodybuilder, look up Michael Matthews, founder of Legion Athletics and Muscle for Life. Try out his book, Bigger Leaner Stronger, and if you follow it to the T and don't make the progress you want, I will literally find you and suck your cock.

i just think doing such a low rep range on bodyweight exercises(like on reddits recommended routine) gets you nowhere, unless you're doing some advanced gymnastic moves

and i hate their progressions on legs, seriously just add in vertical or horizontal squats which you can progress on infinitely instead of doing 3x10 step ups for the rest of your life

But that's the idea, to do the hardest movement you can manage in these rep ranges. I agree I don't like the leg progression though.

It's a beginner routine though. You should be moving on to something else way before you max out on the progressions IMO.
