I just saw the some ridiculous shit at my gym and this is the most fitting thread
>doing my late night work out at 24 hour gym, a few regulars but mostly empty
>3 stereotypical curls bros walk in and gather in the dumbbell area, complete with "crush my swag" and "swoledier" shirts
>leaving duffle bags every where, doing a few sets of bicep exercises
>this isn't out of the ordinary for my gym
>one of the curl bros pulls out a professional grade Nikon with huge ass lenses attachment
>wtf you brought that shit to the gym?
>his 2 curlbro brethren begin posing for a myriad of pictures
>standing in front of the dumbbells rack preparing to pick up dumbbells they have no intention of unracking
>pictures of spotting one another dumbbell incline benching baby weights (completely staged, they're doing 0 reps)
>pictures of putting on a weight lifting belt for no apparent reason and then taking it off immediately afterwards
>pictures of putting 2 plates on the bar for bench, only to not do a single rep of bench
>mfw they spent 15 minutes lifting and over an hour posing for staged pictures of lifting
>had a costume change into tank tops halfway through
>everyone who came to the gym to work out is sticking to the other side of the dumbbell area, all giving wtf looks to each other in between sets in confusion as these dudes have a photo shoot in the middle of the weight room
>finish up my work out and get the fuck out of that mess

not really ego lifting but plain dumbassery:
I saw an asian doing CHEST PRESSES with STRAPS. like, the straps were strapped to the chest press handles.
