What happened? 15-20 years of non-stop squatting?
>>
Idk if it helps but when the accident happened I heard a crunch in my knee
>>
>>35154403
Kek I have an appointment next week but I got the MRI done first and they gave me a copy so I'm anxious
Am I gonna make it
>>
>>35154391
I doubt you'll get any good replies honestly but best of luck. Hope the knee gets better soon. I've hurt my knee before, and not squatting for months is pure suffering.
>>
>>35154412
Your cartilage is almost completely gone
>>
>be a proud and free citizen of burgerstan

From the MRI of your knee
>>
>>35154473
What's your reasoning
>>
>>35154454
Then you have to post the entire slide including the different modalities, and hope that there is a radiologist who browses /fit/ to give you an opinion. Do you even know where the meniscus are, yah fucking dingus? I challenge you to put a circle around the meniscus in the slides you showed us.

Here you go

I don't know how to read MRIs, but I've torn my meniscus twice in my right knee. Once when I was 12 and it was left untreated, and again when I was 22. I got surgery to have the torn portions removed and I have gone on to squat 510 and have been doing martial arts for several years post surgery. Torn menisci are a common injury and the surgery is fairly routine. Provided you do rehab and a lot of stretching/mobility work, you will should still be able to make it.

Yeah I read up that recovery time is very fast
One week and I'll be back to walking

I just have to wait to confirm next Wednesday but I have the images

>>

what position?
>inb4 american football
>>
>>35154364

Looks fine to me, the black part is the meniscus and the grey in between is the cartilage, of course, we can't see all of the slides so there may be something at a different slice or angle that tells a different story but in my opinion it looks normal.
>>
Yeah I had the same thing. The knee being unable to fully bend or extend is probably a bit of your meniscus that's getting in the way, that'll clear up on its own.
Just get the surgery and do what your physical therapist tells you.
