I wouldn't say "diluting the white genes" is the right phrase, but when you think of the great melting pot it's generally a large majority of white europeans with a small amount of 'others'. When it's a small percentage of the population they are forced to assimilate to the prevalent culture. When you throw open the borders and now you have enormous communities of foreigners they no longer have to bother assimilating because they can just open "little italy" or "little ireland" or "little africa" (loldetroit). America used to be a white european nation, now it's a country without a nation where nobody gives a shit about anyone else because they're all just part of their own little communities anyway.
