Im new here, and i wanted to discuss how to gain weight with other skeletons/ex-skeletons. Fuck the sticky, this is a thread for us skinnyfags who want to make it. And together we can. Feel free to share tips, feels or post pictures. How are you holdeing up?

Struggling to eqt enough calories. Do you think it's a good idea to take little shots of olive oil every now and then?

Tuna and noodles was what worked for me, you can get about 35-40 grams of protein and a good helping of carbs. The only problem is sodium but if you only have it once a day it's not too bad.
I also had a weight gain before bed which came to about 1000 calories

Focus on eating as much as you can. Try and avoid drinking your calories if you can, unless you think you're going to fall short of your goal intake.

lifts are going up, numbers on scale are going up
no real tips on what to bulk on, there's no secret, no magic, no tricks, just don't fall for the clean bulk meme

I usually fill up whatever missing calories I have from the 3500 I eat daily with pistachios / cake / milk / crisps. Note that to also progress in the gym I'm eating at least 120g of protein a day, so don't think you can eat a whole cake and be done for the day, that's retarded.

One more advice that really helped me is don't be a nazi when it comes to counting calories. This doesn't mean not to take it seriously, it means not counting small shit like butter on a sandwich, ketchup, that one random candy you ate or whatever. The fact that I don't count butter at all while I still eat at least a tablespoon a day gives me the extra wiggle room just in case I fucked something up or overestimated some calories.
BTW if you're fat you should do the exact opposite

The clean bulk meme is that you can only make gains if you eat broccoli and chicken breast. You can basically eat anything as long as you get your protein and calories. That includes mcdonalds, other garbage food, regular deli sandwiches, homemade fries, breaded chicken and so on. Just don't make it a habit to eat trash fast food because it will affect you in the long run health wise, not gains wise.

brosplit because I've tried SL and didn't enjoy it, hit the plateau really fast (wasn't eating enough) and literally every non-dyel guy in the gym I used to go to told me what I'm doing is bullshit, what you do in the gym ultimately doesn't matter as much as what you eat, but SS or SL without accessories is just retarded and leads to t-rex mode.

Rather than do any of those with accessories I just built my own routine based on a combination of high volume and high intensity, it's a lot of work but it makes sure I target every single muscle. I also included three of the strength lifts , bench, squat and OHP, but only once a week.

Pic related is routine, some may reply saying it's shit or that it's overkill, to which I reply:
I'm doing it as an experiment, until now it's worked fine, if at any point I feel like it's not good enough I will decrease the number of sets from 4 to 3.

Few eggs, toast, berry healthy bullshit smoothie with whey
Sandwiches with some good deli meat and cheese
Preworkout some water in whey + some kind of sugar
PWO: Huge fucking hearty meal like pork shoulder stew with rice and kimchi, big bowl of ice cream with a brownie as a dessert

6'1 went from 130 and am now in the upper 180s...
