How do I train my pullups without using any sort of pullup bar?

Do inverted pull ups

Reverse grip rows, bent over rows, etc. There really is no substitute for pull ups though, but this will hit the same muscles to help you do them in the future.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the best way is to just do pull ups. Keep trying until you get one, than do two, and so on. That's how I did it, and now I do them with lmao1plate hanging from me on a dip chain.

Actually curious too, my friends and I started some beginner calisthenics and a couple of us can't really do pull/chin ups, I personally can't because after doing one, the under side of my arm starts cramping. I was able to do dips and pushups after with no problem so I don't feel like it's my triceps being an issue, but I feel like I could use some more development all around for pull/chin ups and I don't know a way to do that other than just dealing with cramps until I don't have them.
