I do my best to see the glass as half full and I bust my ass to accomplish my goals. Unfortunately, the asthma kept me from achieving much in the sports I played during school. I played basketball and football and probably could have done either of them college were it not for the asthma (two people in my extended family are pro athletes, one a swimmer, one in the NFL).

The depression kicks the shit out of me for weeks at a time sometimes. I'll just be going through the motions and feeling nothing, getting out of bed each day only because I trained myself to zombie my way through those tough periods.

The anxiety makes interacting with people very taxing on me, which makes it hard to maintain friendships and relationships. I do it anyway because being lonely is worse.

The adhd makes it difficult to focus but also gives me a lot of energy so it's sort of a blessing and a curse.

The bad eyes just make me wear these ridiculously thick glasses. It drops my appearance from a 7 to a 5 easily.

I sometimes wish I could give up all the good attributes I have and all the bad ones too and just be average. That's the kind of thinking that goes on when I'm in one of the depressive bouts.

Whatever. Fuck it. Focus on the things you can effect. Hard work pays off. We're all gonna make it.
