I get it. I have issues with overeating and depression. One of the reasons why my progress has been slow is because I got injured at work this time last year. I had just gone from 235 back to 195 and was getting back on track and fucking boom. Major injury. Instead of being optimistic and keeping my diet in check and doing physical therapy I got really depressed and spent a month laying on my couch, chasing pain killers with booze, and eating like shit because I thought I wouldn't be able to run pain free ever again. I got back up to 215 before I realized how full of shit I was.

It's never too late to start over.

Getting close now guys.
342lb->230lb.
Goal is around 200lbs so I can compete in the 93kilo weightclass for powerlifting.
Started powerlifting about 8 months ago to build muscle and help fill out/minimize extra skin. Ended up loving it and now I want to compete eventually.

Still on a cut, hit a plateau a month ago, ate at maintenance for two weeks and then resumed deficit.

Yes, I began with cardio and cutting first with no knowledge of lifting at all. Did a year of keto, but with no nutritional knowledge so it took me a year to get from 105 to 80 kg without any lifting. I'd had done both at the same time if I had the knowledge.

I'd advise you to use EC stack and cut on keto while doing ICF. Count your calories and proteins, 120g p/day is enough.

Larger bones equate to being able to gain more muscle, the larger the bone the more muscle it can hold. If you had wrists as big as Kirill you'd also be ennching over 300kg like he does. A bigger muscle is always a stronger muscle.

In reality the only way you'll bench over 200kg (as you're nowhere near as tall or big as kirill) is by reducing your range of motion, take the range of motion you currently don the the bench press, read rhe bench specialisation book for a good setup, I want you to find a way to HALF your range of motion. The less distance the bar has to travel the more you can lift, get efficient with bar path and arching.

You will get stronger, say you arch your way up to 200kg, of course you'd be able to hit 150-180kg without such an arch, as the arch allows you to overload the bench press.

Anyway, your stalling is likely due to your programming, there's some great programming books, look at pic related. I'd recommend you download and read them all.
