Start doing dumbbell rows if you hate barbell rows. My back has exploded in size ever since I switched. Use jonnie canditos technique and do it on a bench, that way you don't fuck with your lower back.

Yes i built mine like that, and it growed a lot more than other muscles (prolly genetics) i also do some light weight rows as warm up for deadlifts.
