Why do people frown upon fakes so much? You're getting pretty much the same look, just for cheaper and probably less durable. As long as you aren't trying to pass them off as real, what's the big deal?

/fa/ culture is trash.
you are getting a fake version of something real
The problem is that even if you aren't actively trying to pass them off as real, you're still passively doing it.
I can understand replicas (or even even ones that look like it but aren't exact copies) of understated or lesser known pieces, but if you're wearing obvious fakes of 350 Oxfords then you have no excuse. There are other shoes out there that share the aesthetics of 350s, but you chose to wear 350s because you want 350s, even if you're not trying to flex.
at this point i assume anyone with yeezys has fakes. i laugh at you all in my head anyway so remember that when you walk out of your dorm with these
authenticity is a spook
it might just be the biggest spook of this decade actually

But they don't look EXACTLY like 350s. I don't give a shit about "muh similar aesthetic", I like 350s. They look nice to me. I don't care about the status, and I doubt anyone around me does either.
