Is milsurp worth it?
There are so many cheap pieces out there with decent specs but I feel like I'll just end up looking like some hipster kid.

Depends what it is.

Most military equipment is pretty cheaply made, expected to be replaced when it breaks rather than last. It tends to fade in washes.

I was thinking about just getting a cadpat shirt to wear during spring and summer.
It's been getting pretty hot so I gotta drop the layers. I've been spending the past month or so wearing joggers and all black qasas / free runs with a basic shirt. I just wanted something to layer on top when it gets colder at night.

I was thinking about a CADPAT or tiger stripe shirt. I could add some cool nametag or patches to it. Plus a lot of these are ripstop which is nice.

Summer inspo anyone?

Is there anything similar to this for men? Just curious.
>>

Lots of designers make convertible clothing or things that have removable sleeves, hems, etc. But things that straight up go from one look, silhouette, fabric to another entirely different one? No. Some Junya reversible stuff comes close, but that's why Chalayan is Chalayan.

god this looks bad. like a chick's aerobics oufit or something. u gotta be super careful with leggings so they don't look affected and qasas look really bad from many angles unfortunately

The thing with qasas is that you can only pretty much wear them either under your pants or with joggers. Qasas do NOT work with tight bottoms.
I have the "triple" black ones and I can only pull them off with joggers because of their sillouette. They look big as fuck irl. I think it's because of their sole or something but they stick out like a motherfucker unless your bottom has a bit of a loose fit. This does not show in qasa pics though. They are pretty much made for this style though.
>>
>>9691202
yea I know what you mean about the bulkiness only complimenting certain pants silhouettes. I have a few sneakers like that

If you're gonna get skintight leggings get BJJ spats, called leggings & rashguards also, since they're built to last.

>>9689878

CADPAT is cool, but do you live in Canada? If yes, dnc.
>>
what's the point of techwear if you don't have cool future tech inside the clothes?
It's like tribes in Africa putting white clay on their faces to appear whiter.
It looks better, sure, but underneath it's useless and inferior and everyone knows it.
You are essentially cosplaying.

I want to try out shorts & leggings for the summer, not sure what shorts would work though.
Any suggestions?

The only shorts that come to mind are adidas, and they're not really techwear and have a bit too much branding.

any pics of these in everyday settings?

i'm skeptical. is it night wear only?
>>
So I just saw these today and they look pretty good for Goretex shoes, which usually look overdesigned and tacky. When I get my paycheck I'm probably gonna go try on a pair. I'll probably only use on rainy nights or for hiking or something. Thoughts? They do look a little bulky.
>>
>>9696664
they look like goretex hiking boots, which is what they are
they look more appropriate for hiking outdoors than in casual or urban settings (imo)

Proof NY and Outerboro for dedicated tech brands.
Then things like Patagonia, Mountain Hardwear, Nike, Northface, Under armour for a few assorted tech pieces maybe.
