I'm going to start it off with a question of my own. My hair is fairly long on top and it's getting difficult to style correctly, and when it does, it will fall down if I'm in any scenario where I'm moving and I can't adjust it. I was wondering if you guys knew any good hair products that have a matte finish and a super strong hold that I can use so my hair will look like this all day without much movement. This picture is me last week.

I've been growing it for 7 months now, naturally it's pretty curly but the look Id want is something similar to Jax from sons of anarchy, or maybe Tom cruise from vanilla sky..I was thinking 2 or 3 more months growing it and I'll be there. What do you guys think? I'm from the other thread, I'll post another angle, then that back soon

How to stop hair from smelling like sweat during no poo?

this is the only downside I have found to no poo, other than the smell the results are great, no grease, more volume

just do what I did when I was at (6'0") 220 and eat like 500-600 cal a day until you're about 160ish, then start working out. Now I'm 6'2" @ 148 and can eat whatever I want

How do you deal with cowlicks?I've always had trouble with a couple cowlicks on my bangs, so I just keep it short and style it upwards. My hair is really thick, and my crown is off to the side, which is also hard to get down. People often say I look like wolverine, which has made me a little self concious about going to a barber because they always comment on how difficult it is to do anything with my hair; therefore I've gotten good at cutting my own hair the same way

I'm 5'9 180lbs, like I said I started at 200lbs, I've really just been having around 500 but that's when I was sticking hard to just a granola bar and apple a sandwich and dinner later on which is usually a steak but since I'm burning around 300-600 calories everyday except for Wednesday's and Sunday's I guess I'm doing alright since I lost 20 pounds in less than a month..

Oh, my hair does the same thing, I just dislike it and am projecting.

I style mine with a tiiiiny bit of Murray's Pomade. Emulsify in your palms and push your hair back with your pomade-covered hands. Works for me.

You have extremely similar to me, I'd say get the top cut shorter if you want it to be easier to work with. If you want your hair to hold all day you're gonna have to apply some hairspray.

For strong matte finish products try out ones like Claymation from Hanz De Fuko, they have some other good shit aswell. I've also had success with other products lines like Muk, the red and purple ones.
