Post here your questions/answers/Inspo/basically anything that doesn't deserve it's own thread.
I'm going to start it off with a question of my own. My hair is fairly long on top and it's getting difficult to style correctly, and when it does, it will fall down if I'm in any scenario where I'm moving and I can't adjust it. I was wondering if you guys knew any good hair products that have a matte finish and a super strong hold that I can use so my hair will look like this all day without much movement. This picture is me last week.
I've been growing it for 7 months now, naturally it's pretty curly but the look Id want is something similar to Jax from sons of anarchy, or maybe Tom cruise from vanilla sky..I was thinking 2 or 3 more months growing it and I'll be there. What do you guys think? I'm from the other thread, I'll post another angle, then that back soon
you're in my exact situation. unfortunately, i don't know of any products that can help you, which is why i'm in that situation. i haven't tried anything from them yet, but something with matte finish by hanz de fuko might be good
Currently on exercise bike thingy rn, like I mentioned in the other thread I used to weigh 200 now I'm at 180lbs
hey how is my hair??????L?
exercise bike for pussies
use a real bike lmao
How do you deal with cowlicks?I've always had trouble with a couple cowlicks on my bangs, so I just keep it short and style it upwards. My hair is really thick, and my crown is off to the side, which is also hard to get down. People often say I look like wolverine, which has made me a little self concious about going to a barber because they always comment on how difficult it is to do anything with my hair; therefore I've gotten good at cutting my own hair the same way
I'm 5'9 180lbs, like I said I started at 200lbs, I've really just been having around 500 but that's when I was sticking hard to just a granola bar and apple a sandwich and dinner later on which is usually a steak but since I'm burning around 300-600 calories everyday except for Wednesday's and Sunday's I guess I'm doing alright since I lost 20 pounds in less than a month..
Wow my hair looks exactly like that.
I hate that it looks bunchy on the right side; from a distance it just looks like your hair fell over. Could be solved with a shorter top or pushing it straight back instead, but idk.
I mean that's the way I like it styled I just need product ideas. I'm scared to cut it cause I just got it cleaned up around the edges and my barber kinda fucked up the sides. But I would consider it.
Oh, my hair does the same thing, I just dislike it and am projecting.
I style mine with a tiiiiny bit of Murray's Pomade. Emulsify in your palms and push your hair back with your pomade-covered hands. Works for me.
Also do you straighten your hair?
Mayonnaise and saltwater
jk I use maybe a dime-sized about, and it rinses out with water. Worth nothing that I've been no-poo for a few years and only use Murrays if it's humid or something outside b/c I use a flatiron
last hair thread some anons said I should try and style my hair like the guys in pic related. problem is i don't really know how? do I just pull the hair on the top of my head back and tie that into a tail or what? please help anons
man I'm on fire today. here's the picture i meant to post
then it just looks like this
I'd need something to hold it back. and I'd rather not use product
Anyone else stuck with awkward in-between length hair? Thank God I live in Melbourne because I am stuck manbunning it every day.
Posted in the last thread, need some help.
I'm thinking I need to cut the sides and back down to a 2, what should I do for the top?
Or should I just stop giving a shit and let it grow out and go terrorist manbun mode?
So I've gone through quite a few options already. Shoulder length to undercut, to hitler youth for a while now. What's next? Getting kind of bored of the hy now, so it's just growing out
Hi guys, atm have a long HY but need to reshave sides. I just have no idea if its worth continuing to grow out my top or cut it back, help pls :^)
undercut not HY
You have extremely similar to me, I'd say get the top cut shorter if you want it to be easier to work with. If you want your hair to hold all day you're gonna have to apply some hairspray.
For strong matte finish products try out ones like Claymation from Hanz De Fuko, they have some other good shit aswell. I've also had success with other products lines like Muk, the red and purple ones.
