Her music is completely shit, even in pop terms.

But as a person she is the absolute best. I adore her, her aesthetics, her personality(ate least the one she passes in interviews, etc), and the Devin's AMA just confirmed what I suspected, that she a lovely, sweet, shy, fun, girl to hang.

Mostly chorus, he uses a ton of it, you can get pretty close to the mac sound with only a chorus pedal

The sound itself is called jangle pop, to achieve the tone you need single coil pick ups (like a strat) and an amp with a sparkly clean tone, like a twin reverb. add chorus and you're good to go
