GANT is also a very good clothing company that made it's fame during the 60s with the whole "take ivy" prep squad.


I've thought about buying the white CPs as well, but after seeing these a couple months ago, and really liking GANT (rugger)'s stuff I feel like I could make do with these for sure.


They also had some high tops that I missed out on my size :(

Any ideas for when the next sale for CPs will be? I want to pick up a pair of Royal Republic Spartacus because I have yet to hear anything negative about them, but I keep hearing that CPs go on sale for around 240 if that's gonna happen anytime soon I'll be bummed having spent 180 on these. Should I just buy these?

It's something you become comfortable with as you do it. Take a walk down your university and you'll see people wear white shoes all the time. Maybe a little dirty, but the point stands. I always thought wearing white shoes with dark colors looked weird. Now I have no problem with a dark flannel, black jeans and my white shoes. It just looks normal to me because I've done it, and it took me a year to get to that understanding and level.

It is just a case of "not being used to it" If you wanna experiment more, try wearing a lighter top with darker bottoms to balance it out and go from there. I find a dark open shirt with a white t shirt underneath is a good way to break up the contrast

poor studentfag here, what are some good white trainers I could get for <£50 that are also easy to maintain?

I made the mistake of paying £90 for some lovely Puma trainers that had big patches of suede on it and suffice to say they didn't stay white for super long and the suede is a bitch to maintain and already the leather on the toe of the shoe has ripped off a little

(no vans tho pls I find them uncomfortable to wear)

i have af1s for beaters and i stick to those or boots when its really gross out

if i am going to wear some of my nice white sneakers in the winter i only wear them in the evening when i'm going out, since i will logically be spending most of the time inside. then i wipe them off later that night/the next day. as long as you don't let the salt sit on them for a while, you should be fine

if they're white canvas don't even bother trying, they will get disgusting quick

My rod lavers came in two days ago and they're great for the price. There's no actual issue with quality, this guy is just nitpicking. They're very comfortable, the branding is borderline unnoticeable, and they're slim looking as fuck.

what do you guys think about these? considering between them or all white stan smiths for wearing this spring/summer...
