It's hard to say how much the influenced fashion. women's fashion, none due to exclusiveness of military service to males, I don't think that military uniforms had much influence, but certain types of clothes do have military origins

As someone currently serving i don't really like seeing civvies cutting about in current military gear. It's a bit cringeworthy seeing some cunt in Tesco wearing DPM (camoflague) trousers/jacket.

The British Army's No2 dress has been in place for over a hundred years and hasn't really changed much. I don't know whether it would be considered iconic or influential but fuck me, it is uncomfortable to wear despite the tailor sizing you up.
