Hello /fa/. I do not normally browse this board so forgive me if this is a common topic. I saw nothing in the catalog.
What do you all think of knee-high lace up boots on men? What are the best ways to wear them? I personally think they are the most badass thing ever, but unfortunately they do not seem popular in general. I'm American, so perhaps it is different abroad, but I wouldn't know. Thoughts? Suggestions. If necessary, I can provide pics for critique. Thanks in advance.

Provide pics
you have to be tall and beautiful to not be a complete joke, also city matters. ive seen few in prague but it was all pathetic
depends on where you live
flyover states need not apply

can you imagine going to 7-11 for a slurpee dressed like this

Give me a minute. I am snapping some OC right now. Will get back to you.
I always liked the Star Wars knee high boots with no laces. The world isn't post apocalyptic enough to pull them off though, unless you own a motorcycle.

Also, I'm black, so.....
Pls, no bully...

Don't if you aren't very tall and pretty attractive.
Don't if you live in 100% urban area.
Don't if it doesn't perfectly fit your style.
Also it would be easier for you to start with normal boots with socks or putties.

Yeah, it would be fun.

Well, fuck me. Taking a decent selfie turned out to be more difficult than I anticipated, so I settled on just pics of the boots themselves. I have two pair. One is a paratrooper style with mid-calf straps. The other pair is more motorcycle style with a thin toe-box. I apologize for not having full-body pics, but all I have is a cellphone and no one is around at the moment to help.

2 out of 3 ain't bad. I'm 5'8" and I'd rank myself a 6/10. I'm not fucked. I hope.
Bumping for interest. Personally, I like the look of tall boots, but I am too worried about looking gay. OP, you've got big balls.

How much money are we talking? Recommended brands? I really have no idea. Knee boots for men that aren't cowboy style are almost impossible to come by, so I don't know where to look.
Also, I only make 35k, so absolute top tier is out of the question.

Only places I'd really care for is maybe the Scandinavian peninsula, but I'm sure it's shit in its own way, such as their batshit insane leftist politics.

OP here. In case anyone is curious about the jagged edges around the top of the boot, I wanted to explain. They do not not come that way. Like any typical pair of leather boots, the tops are rounded with quality double-stitching. The problem I encountered after receiving them is that the shaft height was not as claimed. Instead of 14.9in as advertised, they were actually 16.25in. As a result, the tops bit into the backs of my knees. Rather than go through the hassle of returning them, I shortened the boots myself(while drunk). The results are as you see in the pic.
tl;dr: Never cut leather while inebriated
