So, "techwear" threads are now as common as "hair" thread, and I've got the to filter too?

Wearing cotton leggings is one of the worst decisions you could make. This isn't techwear, but the coat is still fantastic.

They look like it, even if they are a poly blend it's still shitty and will never keep water out. I don't know of anywhere that makes leggings like that mostly they are just simple solid colors. Gyakusou is the only brand I know of that makes techy leggings that actually look cool

Also how's the durability on these?
>>
>>8783566
>>8783566
The sole gets torn up a little fast which is annoying but otherwise they're fine so far. No creases or anything.
>>
>>8783566

Just got my pair of triple blacks.

They're comfy as fuck, but they're not meant for durability. There's even a disclaimer on the tag that says they're not meant to be used for traditional athletic shit. The upper is neoprene so it will keep your feet fairly warm, but it isn't a functional shoe by any stretch of the imagination. If you live in a mild climate and like having kicks that you can slip on and off easily, they are top notch.

that doesn't really look like acronym. i've read up a lot on acr and own a few garments from them but idk.
>>
Ugh still looking for op's blue shell, I've been at it for a month
I think it's American Apparel, is this a potential source for this thing?
>>
>>8783645
Pretty sure it's not, I remember in one of these threads an anon tracked it down and it wasn't ACR. It was some second rate tech brand trying to look like ACRONYM but definitely not ACR.
>>
>>8783099
fatty
>>
>>8783665
i'm glad i'm not the only one lol. the material doesn't look like anything acr uses, and honestly they haven't changed their aesthetic since the company's inception and that jacket is pretty incongruous with past collections (fw1415 is a step in that direction but definitely not there yet). furthermore it doesnt have logo tape or forcelock which is included on a lot if not most acrnm jackets.
>>
>>8783653
Are we looking at the same image?
>>
>>8783691
The silhouette is what did it for me ACR never does stuff that slim or long. It's always much shorter practical proportions considering they are so focused on anatomical movement.
>>
>>8783694
The blue waterproof, yeah
>>
>>8783709
hmm yeah you're right. i didn't even think about that. nevertheless i'm curious as to who makes the jacket.
>>
>>8783669
If you are actually living out the Techwear aesthetic you should never be that skinny. Techwear is about getting out and doing stuff. Get active being physically fit, not some tiny little twig. That fit isn't even Techwear, bitch is wearing jeans and docs plus that jacket looks like it's cotton. 0/10 wouldn't come close too.

North Face White label. It's Korea only, but it's relatively cheap.

What brands/ pieces are good for comfycore techwear? I'm thinking plenty of pockets, comfortable material while being protected from the elements for f/w months. I think the shoes fit the feel of the outfit, and doesn't draw attention away from the parka, which is the main piece.

I guess the price thing was a bit misworded. What I meant by it is that the trainerendors look cheap and out of place.

Well, what is it that draws you about Acronym? What's the Acronym you like?

In the last techwear thread, two people agreed that they both liked the J43-GT and S6-C the best from the new collection; I thought they were the most underwhelming pieces, unless you count the cash-in accessories (tho, I think I'd actually rather have the shemagh and beanie over either those).

OTOH, the J-40CH, P16A-CH, and to a lesser extent J41-GT were exactly the garments I've been dreaming of in the aether for months, except better.

>>8798213
There's cheap things that aren't knock off shit.

Acronym is a little hard, because they're one of the most distinctive brands going and Errolson would be a master even if he wasn't charting new territory. But I think we can find >>8798203 something he likes.

Also pic related game over everybody, stop worrying about what's tech and the size of someone's fucking thighs in an *inspo* image and just wear cool clothes.

>>8795723
Visibly DIY'd tech clothing is awesome. I'll see if I can find some good pics later.

Hi, I'm gonna be in Zurich for 6 months next year and I plan on doing plenty of hiking with some snow sports. I'm new to tech wear and was wondering if you guys could recommend some waterproof trainers that would be suitable for hiking. Also, where do I begin looking for other waterproof sweats?

I think we all look at the same Tumblrs, but this was nice to see. The very first J1. Anyone know what the fabric was?

The flap on the upper chest, above the flak pocket, is what they did before Forcelock - under it there's a mesh pocket to secure your earphones. I don't remember what other early Acronym pieces I've seen it on to Google up an illustration, but that's what it is. Cooler, I think, but less practical and less fluid that Forcelock. (Fluid > Cool, IMO FTR.)

Not available anymore, it's from White Mountaineering's previous BLK line. I see a few things from that line on yahoo.jp sometimes though.

>Visibly DIY'd tech clothing is awesome
I agree, but mainly what I'd want to do is something more sleek, similar to Veilance but budgeting on the material and just focusing on the aesthetics. Maybe experimenting. Sort of like cutting corners to spend less than I would for real techwear. I'd be getting into it for the wrong reasons...
Would love to see some pics you might have though.
